Clear Claim Connection
First Choice Health is pleased to announce the launching of Clear Claim Connection, a McKesson product and service,
for use by our contracted providers. This important service provides information according to code-editing logic on
the date of the provider’s inquiry. Clear Claim Connection creates transparency and allows providers to view edits
and source information. Edits include, but are not limited to mutually exclusive procedures, incidental procedures,
pre/post op visits with the global period, assistant surgeon and modifier/procedure code validity. Sources referenced
include CMS (including CCI), American Medical Association Current Procedure Terminology, CPT assistant, CPT Coding
Symposium, and Specialty Society Coding Guidelines. Clear Claim Connection for First Choice Health Administrators
can be accessed as one of the One Health Port
group of tools listed above.
