MEMBER SERVICES TRAINER-AUDITOR - SPOKANE LOCATION

JOB SUMMARY:
Primary responsibilities include initial and ongoing training for Member Services staff, development of training curriculum, including training evaluations, communicating new procedures and providing feedback and coaching with regards to their call performance.

Performs monthly auditing for Member Services staff including audit evaluations, and providing feedback and coaching with regards to their call performance.

Documents and evaluates benefit clarifications regarding plan benefits. Provides technical expertise as a subject matter expert for staff, management and company meetings.
MAIN DUTIES:
  • Authors a comprehensive global training manual for new Member Services employees. Maintains procedure manual for current staff.
  • Trains department staff, meeting established dates and timelines.
  • Assures training manuals are kept current and new procedures are documented and communicated as appropriate within 48 hours of completion.
  • Audits Member Services calls and provides documented and specific feedback to the team members and the Department Supervisor.
  • Assists in identifying trends and areas of enhancement for improved quality and performance efficiency.
  • Supports Representatives daily with taking calls and especially during high call volume periods.
  • Special projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent. Associate Degree highly desirable.
  • One to two years current health care experience and/or training experience or any combination thereof.
  • Proficient in MS Office products to include Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; with ability to communicate performance information to new trainees or quality performance to existing staff.
  • Proven leadership skills and management experience preferred.
  • One year documentation experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a sometimes stressful environment. Ability to meet deadlines and prioritizes workloads.
  • Must be able to travel to satellite offices as training needs dictate. Travel may require extended stays as needed.
