JOB SUMMARY:

Responds to customer inquiries, issues and concerns in a timely and accurate manner. Responsible for handling routine and non-routine customer inquiries.

MAIN DUTIES:

Responds to more difficult telephone inquires including supervisor calls and resolves as appropriate.
Responds to Member Services Representative on general information and processes on resolving issues.
Answers phones when available. Is expected to maintain a fundamental phone shift.
Communicate issues & problems within department to Supervisor or Director.
Researches high level issues.
Other duties as directed by department manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

HS Diploma or equivalent.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum 3-years customer service experience, preferably in a managed care environment.
Experience and or training in Conflict resolution training.
Proficient word processing, spreadsheets, Windows environment preferred.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a stressful environment.
