EDI/FTP Setup

Follow these steps to establish an EDI relationship with First Choice Health.

1. Read EDI with FCH in its entirety.
2. Complete the EDI/FTP Request Form. A portion of this document may need to be completed by your IT technical team. Our IT Application Support team is available to help if there are questions. They can be reached at:

3. E-mail the completed document with a copy of your Public Key to your account manager at FCH.
4. The FCH account manager will review the form for completeness and will enter a work order for the IT technical team to setup the EDI relationship.
5. Concurrently, please have your technical team begin the process of setting up an account for FCH on your FTP server. They will need a copy of:
   1. Our Public Key
   2. Our FTP site information
   3. EDI with FCH
6. Our IT technical team will setup the necessary FTP account on our FTP site and make configuration entries for our automated scripts.
7. The same staff will contact your IT technical team to facilitate testing to ensure that both sides can encrypt, decrypt, transmit and receive files.
8. Then operational/application teams will test the exchange of application data.
9. When all parties are satisfied with the exchange of application data and files, the process will then be moved to production.
