Is Your Child Being Bullied? Bullying can be described as an imbalance of power, where one or more children are being intentionally aggressive toward other children who have a hard time defending themselves. This is becoming more common and problematic; studies have shown that as much as 1-in-4 elementary school to junior high aged kids have been bullied with some frequency. The consequences differ greatly, and depending on the child, the effects can vary from fairly mild to severe.
