Welcome to the Walla Walla Community College
Employee Assistance Program

Our EAP is provided by First Choice Health and has many exciting services available to you and your family members. EAP services are cost free and confidential. You can learn more about the EAP menu of services by clicking on the buttons located to the left of your screen.

Under our EAP you are welcome to contact First Choice Health EAP any time you're experiencing family, emotional, or personal concerns. An appointment will be arranged with an EAP provider to assist you in solving those concerns or to help you find ongoing resources in the community. You will have from 1-3 assessment sessions with the EAP provider.

In the Work/Life Resources section, the EAP web site delivers a wide range of child care, elder care, legal, and financial resources. Access these resources by clicking on the Work/Life Resources button on the left and then entering the Username: wallawallacc and the Password: employee. We believe you and your family will find the Work/Life tools useful and easy to use.

There are also specialized Work/Life services available through the EAP. Should you need assistance in arranging Child Care, or if you have parenting questions, a call to (800) 777-4114 can help in locating licensed facilities nearby, answering your questions, and discussing what questions to ask about potential providers.

Many families experience concerns regarding the care of an aging parent. If you have questions about how to care for your parents or coordinating their needs, call the EAP. They'll be pleased to provide an Elder Care Consultation and help you prepare for or arrange the care and assistance needed by your loved one.

From time to time, everyone has questions of a legal nature. Through the EAP you will receive a thirty-minute Legal Consultation with an attorney (in person or over the phone). If you decide to retain the attorney, you will receive a 25% discount off their standard fees. The consultation cannot be applied to past, present, or future employment-related questions or concerns, but all other areas of law can be addressed.

First Choice Health EAP also provides free, telephonic Financial Consulations with a financial professional. The telephonic consultation includes 60 minutes of financial counseling and education. Topics include: budgeting, estate planning, credit card consolidation, savings, debt management, retirement planning, and more.

ID Theft and other related crimes can be financially and emotionally devastating. The EAP ID Theft and Fraud Resolution Program is a comprehensive legal, financial and ID resolution service. This program is an interactive advocacy service that provides education, guidance, counseling and legal assistance to victims of fraud related crimes. Just contact the EAP at their toll-free number to access these services.
