Account Specialist provides support to Senior Account Executives in delivering management and oversight of employer health benefits to end customers. Team environment and great launching pad for individuals interested in marketing and sales related to self-funded health plan administration.
Provide daily support of customer inquires
Support Account Executives in presenting complex data, analysis and findings in a way that is clear and understandable. Provide actionable insights that help to guide clients in the administration of their company health plans.
Assist customers with report-related questions and troubleshooting, providing external training, act as a resource and problem solver for clients.
Partner with analytics team to develop new reports, revise existing reports, and explore opportunities to improve reporting processes
Keep current on trends, best practices and technologies in analytics and make appropriate recommendations to marketing and analytics teams.
Provide information and support for ad hoc analytic projects
Support Senior Account Executives in production of member materials (SBCs)
Provide support during open enrollment meetings
Provide supplemental project support for various project activities, including maintaining project tracking sites, creating and maintaining templates, tracking narrative and project components.
Work Experience: Two plus years experience in healthcare client services, claims, and/or data analytics.
Education, Certificates, Licenses: BA Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Public Health, Business Administration or related field.
Knowledge: Ability to manage workload within a team environment or without direct supervision. Ability to research solve complex problems and manage multiple priorities. Strong attention to details.
Preferred Knowledge: Working knowledge of medical costs and experience with medical coding and terminology desired. Experience with Deerwalk or other healthcare analytic platforms. Skilled in Google Workspace and Monday.com or willingness and ability to ramp up quickly.
