Job Summary

The EAP (Employee Assistance Program) Sales Associate is responsible for providing high-level support to the Director of Sales.  The Sales Associate will learn how the department operates, how to generate proposals and presentations, and how to support insurance brokers and clients.  In time, the Sales Associate will generate EAP sales through broker relationships and on a direct basis.

Main Duties

Intake and process EAP proposal requests

Generate EAP proposals and deliver on a timely basis. Follow-up on the status of outstanding proposals

Assist with internal sales reports and presentations, process Geo-Access and expense reports, schedule meetings and travel

Assist EAP Account Executives and other company departments as required

Manage client contracts

 Represent the EAP in front of brokers, clients, and employees. Assist with employee group orientations and benefit fairs

Attend sales and prospect meetings, trade shows, industry events and conferences

Regional travel required periodically

Sales of EAP services will be expected in the future

Other related duties as assigned


Outgoing personality with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail

Committed to excellence and high quality customer service

Four-year college degree required

Two years or equivalent of sales experience or account management preferable

Driver's license required

Strong knowledge and ability to use Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Possess excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing, to all levels of management

Proven experience and ability to work in a team based environment
