Job Summary

Job Duties: Support the Company's strategic and financial objectives as part of the Strategy, Product Innovation and Corporate Development teams. Responsible for evaluating the current and prospective competitive landscapes, providing analysis of proposed initiatives, developing strategic recommendations and supporting implementation of key initiatives. Conduct market analysis to understand industry trends and make actionable recommendations. Support strategy, product innovation and corporate development teams with the development of solutions and innovations. Develop business models that assist the evaluation of new products, programs and lines of business.


Main Duties


Experience Requirements:  Six (6) months of experience in strategy, operations, data analytics or consulting in the health care industry, which includes six (6) months of experience in each of the following:


  • Analyzing potential clients by dividing market segments by industries and geographic regions with deep understanding of the complex insurance, TPA (third-party administration) and PPO (preferred provider organization) network businesses

  • Utilizing tools such as MiEdge to examine prevailing self-funded employers and present potential clients' opportunities to executive teams 

  • Creating dashboards via data visualization tools such as Power BI and PowerPoint to capture current status of provider information management and credentialing teams

  • Conducting market research projects with the knowledge of self-funded employers' unique wallet shares, characteristics, and demographics when it comes to purchasing health insurance and other services 

  • Calculating metrics such as success rates and potential revenues and conducting research on competitors' products to develop a business case for initiating charging fees for new and existing products 

  • Utilizing data and analytics platforms for analysis of book of business trends

  • Conducting usability testing of data analytic tools such and providing feedback to guide making decision for choosing company's appropriate data analytics software vendor


Requirements

Education Requirement: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Health Administration or a related field


MUST HAVE PROOF OF LEGAL AUTHORITY TO WORK IN THE UNITED STATES.

SALARY RANGE: $72,800

Compensation package includes benefits and bonuses.

40 hours per week. EOE
