PROGRAM MANAGER

Job Summary

The Program Manager will serve as a project lead, bringing together subject matter experts enterprise wide for a variety of projects. Projects are not limited to but may include regulatory enhancements with tight deadlines, strategic enterprise work to grow business, or system wide enhancements needed to improve current processes and work flows.


The Program Manager will also assist the compliance department with a variety of projects and day to day work. This includes the Vendor Security Management process that ensures all vendor partners have the appropriate safe guards in place for any protected information that First Choice Health shares to support our business.



Main Duties

  • Assists Operations Leadership Team Leaders with initiative leadership for various projects in Operations & Compliance.

  • Coordinate/manage the HIPAA Security Vendor Assessment process with all enterprise-wide leaders.  

  • Assist Managers, Business Analytics (PPO & TPA) with high-level projects.

  • Assists Vice President, Operations & Compliance officer with the intake process for legal and compliance matters.  

  • Creating long- and short-term project plans, including setting targets fort milestones, adhering to deadlines, and allocating resources

  • Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple departments are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy

  • Additional tasks and projects as assigned.


Requirements

  • BA degree in either business or management.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years experience in TPA, HMO, PPO or health benefits management required.

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for above requirements. 

  • Knowledge of various project management methodologies.

  • Proven leadership skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with various goals and tight deadlines.

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written as well as presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent computer skills; solid knowledge of Google products such as Google Docs and Sheets.

  • Knowledge of the Monday.com project management software a plus.

  • Must be highly motivated to carry out tasks with minimum supervision.

  • Some travel is required.
