You’ll find that our benefits exceed the traditional basic packages generally offered.

All qualified employees and their dependents are eligible to enroll in medical, dental and vision benefits on the first of the month following date of hire. First Choice Health contributes a portion of the premium for employees and family coverage.

Employees who enroll in our health plan may be eligible to establish a health savings account. First Choice Health contributes to the HSA based upon income level and longevity.

Employees may contribute pre-tax dollars to a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to pay for qualified dental and daycare expenses.

We offer life insurance benefits at no cost at a limit of two times an employee’s annual base salary (with a max of $300,000). Employees have the opportunity to purchase additional life insurance for themselves and their dependents.

All employees are required to elect short-term and long-term disability coverages. The company pays for long-term disability coverage, while employees pay for the short-term disability benefit at a small premium.

We match 50% of the employees’ deferred amounts, up to a total match of 3% of eligible income. Employees may elect to join the 401(k) program at the first of the month following 90 days of employment.

We may elect to make annual discretionary profit sharing contributions in an amount to be determined at Plan Year end to your 401(k) account.

Vacation, sick time, and any personal time away are combined into general annual paid time off (PTO) bank. Full-time employees accrue PTO at a rate of 4.61 hours per pay period, to equal 120 hours (15 days) per calendar year, increased according your service.

Employees receive nine (9) paid, two (2) floating holidays and two (2) four-hour time blocks for community service per year.

First Choice Health recognizes that a variety of problems can disrupt personal and work life. If an employee needs professional help, they can contact the EAP, which provides confidential access to professional counseling services for help in confronting personal problems such as alcohol/substance abuse, marital and family difficulties, financial or legal troubles, or emotional distress. The EAP is available to all employees and their immediate family members, offering problem assessment, short-term counseling, and referral to appropriate community and private services.

Employees may be eligible to receive reimbursement for accredited undergraduate college education after one year of employment. Company reimbursement amounts are increased based upon years of service.

Eligible employees will receive an annual Orca Passport card at no cost to them. The Home Free Guarantee Program is also provided to employees who ride the bus, ferry, train, monorail, carpool, vanpool, bicycle, or walk to work on any given day. In an emergency situation, this free taxi service will take an employee wherever they need to go, one way.

Breastfeeding moms can enjoy the private Mother’s room conveniently located on-site.

Corporate discounts allow employees to purchase entertainment products and services at a discounted rate.

Our longevity benefit recognizes employees for their years of service with the company. The more years of service an employee has with First Choice, the greater the increase in their benefits including; service bonus, PTO accrual, lower medical premium, and company funded HSA.

For many positions employees enjoy a combination of flexible work schedules, and partial to full-time telework.

We reward employees for being active and staying healthy. Employees are eligible to enroll in VirginPulse in order to earn cash rewards. Depending upon work location, employees may enjoy a variety of health perks; wellness fruit, lunch and learn, massage, discounted gym membership and gym attendance incentive.

First Choice Health has established corporate membership agreements with local gyms that will provide discounts to all employees. Employees are reimbursed based on the number of gym visits per month.

We have a 24 / 7 Nurse Line for you to speak with a nurse 24/7 who can answer your health questions. We have a maternity management which provides one-on-one telephonic educational support from a registered nurse coach with experience in pre-natal care.

At First Choice Health, we have fun when we work. With that in mind, we have a committee dedicated to hold fun events for our employees to enjoy throughout the year. Events include Staff Appreciation, Summer Family, United Way Fundraising, Holiday party and many more...
