First Choice Health originated as a Preferred Provider Organization in 1985, serving the area surrounding Seattle, and eventually expanding to serve all of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and the entire Northwestern United States. Our multi-state PPO Network includes those facilities and healthcare professionals who have agreed to provide quality care to network members at a lower cost.

Established in 1985, First Choice Health's PPO Network is the largest independent Preferred Provider Organization in the Northwestern U.S. with more than 107,000 healthcare providers, 2300 facilities, and 369 hospitals under contract. Our network encompasses all medical specialties, and extends throughout Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, and South Dakota. All providers are credentialed to NCQA standards.

We work closely with our clients to build a strong relationship and address their unique needs. Our experienced account management team follows a high-touch approach with customized support to provide an optimized experience for each client. In addition to online tools, resources and reports, FCH offers Medical Management services, such as case management and pre-authorization, to help reduce healthcare costs for both our clients and their employees.

What is a Clinically Integrated Network?

A Clinically Integrated Network or CIN is a group of providers and facilities that form an organization to offer convenient, comprehensive care and services. FCH collaborates with local healthcare organizations to build and offer the best patient-centered healthcare solutions. Bringing together regional providers and healthcare organizations that are celebrated for high-quality care and service.

These networks, including those listed below, are an increasingly popular choice with self-funded companies, to help members reduce costs while ensuring high-quality care and convenience. We make it easier for patients to get the care they need, at the right price, right where they live and work.

MultiCare Connected Care

An Accountable Care Organization (ACO), MultiCare Connected Care has established a comprehensive Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) comprised of doctors and other healthcare providers, as well as hospitals, clinics and other health care services, such as imaging, labs and pharmacies. The MultiCare Connected Care Network includes healthcare professionals in the community, as well as MultiCare providers. Together, our extensive, fully integrated network of doctors, hospitals and other healthcare services all share the same goal: to help participating patients get, and stay, healthy.

Eastside Health Network

The Eastside Health Network brings together EvergreenHealth and Overlake Medical Center and Clinics, along with dozens of independent providers and practices, to deliver high-quality care and an exceptional patient experience at the best possible value. With a focus on improving access to healthcare providers and services and a commitment to care coordination, patients who utilize the Eastside Health Network have access to a depth and breadth of services unrivaled on the Eastside. Embright is a clinically integrated network that includes providers from world-class healthcare organizations throughout the Pacific Northwest. Embright was founded by three of Washington's leading healthcare providers: UW Medicine, MultiCare Health System, and LifePoint Health, driven by the need to make healthcare better together. The network includes over 1,000 primary care providers, 6,600 specialists, and 14 hospitals, including the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. The Puget Sound High-Value Network brings together regional providers and healthcare organizations that are celebrated for their high-quality care and service. With nearly 1,000 participating locations and over 6,000 providers, Puget Sound High-Value Network members can access care where they live and work.
