Improved Access to and Quality of Care
Helping members understand and access healthcare is a component of Central Oregon Select that is particularly crucial. Included with all plans is member navigation and advocacy services to guide members through their healthcare experience. FCH's care navigators are equipped to help members find providers, schedule appointments, discuss treatment options, estimate costs, and advocate billing. Member navigation services are integrated with network, plan design and member eligibility information to provide detailed solutions and ensure members are receiving personalized care.
Aligned Incentives and Shared Risk
Central Oregon Select Clinically Integrated Network is a true partnership aligning the clinical objectives and financial outcomes of the employer and Health System Partners through a value-based contract. The Health System Partners will participate in the employer surplus when overall claim expense is reduced and quality metrics are attained, as well as participate in the added risk if claims are higher than projected. This innovative arrangement uniquely links the Health System Partners and employer group in upside and downside risk scenarios.
Direct-to-Employer Advantage
Our innovative direct-to-consumer network and contracting model provide additional negotiated discounts to local employer groups. The Central Oregon Select CIN program includes market-leading unit cost discounts at participating provider groups to deliver high-quality, affordable care. Self-funded employer groups will see immediate savings to their claim liability when seeking care at these facilities.
Unique Tiered Plan Designs
First Choice Health designs flexible medical plans configured to meet the specific needs of participating employer groups. All plans include a custom 3-tier network design with lower copays and cost shares for members utilizing the Tier-1 Central Oregon Select CIN. Participating members also have access to the full First Choice Health PPO network and Out of Network providers under alternate tiers with additional member cost share.
